Antonio Adán Garrido was born 13 May 1987 in Madrid. He is a Spanish professional football player who plays for Real Madrid as a goalkeeper. he is a Real Madrid youth graduate. He was the first-choice goalkeeper for its Team-c in the 2005–06 season, playing 36 games and save 29 goals. He also started three games for the Juvenil team which won theChampions cup of the group, keeping a clean sheet in the tournament.
The next season, Adán was selected for the 1st team's America tour in August 2006. He served as backup to Captaim Jordi Cadina in castila of Real Madrid, until the latter's promotion to the main squad.Adán made his debut in second division on 27th August 2006, in a 1–1 draw at Castellon He contributed with 6 league matches as Real Madrid's reserves were relegated.After the sale of Codina to neighbours Getafe Adán was promoted to the senior side for pre season training, in the in the 2009-2010 campaign. While still appearing mostly for the B team's s he was third-choice in the first team, behind iker casilas and dudek.On 8th December 2010 Adan played his first official game for Real Madrid, coming on as a substitute for leg injured Dudek in the 44th minute of the 4–0 home win against auxerre for the years UEFA champions league: they had already won its group stage, and manager Mourinho rested main main starters. the next month, he played the full 90 minutes in a 0–2 loss at Levante for copa del rea 8–2 aggregate win.Adán made his La liga debut on 13 February 2011, replacing sent of Casillas in the second minute of a 1–0 win at Espanyol. Begining in the next match day, at barnabeu against Levante, he kept a clean sheet 2–0 win.On 22 December 2012, Adán relegated longtime incumbent Casillas to the bench in a 2–3 away loss to Malaga. Mourinho defended his decision in his end-match comments by saying: "It's a technical decision. The coach analyses the arguable situation, look at the players at his disposal and chooses for Real Madrid team .
